2012-2013 Parent Survey
Dear Families,
Here at Inspired Teaching School, parents play an important role in all aspects of the school. This year there may even be some opportunities to include you in our curriculum themes and projects/explorations. In addition to set themes, there are also projects that come up as children's interests and resources emerge. Parents and caregivers can be extremely helpful in developing these interests and adding to our classroom. For example, when studying Washington, D.C. if you are a local entrepreneur (e.g. restaurant, artist, musician, curator) and would be open to hosting a fieldtrip at your business, or if you could contribute to a career day by sharing your profession (e.g. doctor, veterinarian, coach, cook, artist, singer, etc).
We would like to catalog the wealth of talent, interests and passions that exist among our parents. This will help us create targeted opportunities for you to support and participate in the topics/materials we engage in at school as well as enriching our curriculum. Please take a moment to fill out the survey below (ONE PER FAMILY). Apologies if parts of this are repetitive from information gathered from your teachers, please complete it here as well as the Inspired Families Association is creating a school-wide database.
